The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center (DPNC) in Mystic, CT, stewards over 500 acres of diverse habitats, including woodlands, meadows, and wetlands. Visitors can explore more than 10 miles of trails connecting the Nature Center and Coogan Farm, offering opportunities to engage with native wildlife and learn about the region's natural history. The Nature Center features live animal exhibits, a natural history museum, and educational programs for all ages. Coogan Farm, a preserved cultural landscape, includes the Giving Garden, which provides fresh produce to local food banks. DPNC's stewardship efforts aim to preserve these lands for both ecological integrity and community enrichment.

What to Expect:
We will offer a casual tour of our exhibits, trails and Bird of Prey Enclosures, led by Outreach director and Education director.
We love to focus on local wildlife in our own backyards and our ambassador animals that provide meaningful, hands on interactions.
Educators will have the opportunity to interact with our ambassador animals (birds, turtles, frogs, and snakes)
