The Boating Division’s mission is to enhance boating safety, improve boating access and associated infrastructure on Connecticut’s waters, foster environmental stewardship and reduce or eliminate user conflicts. The division works in cooperation with other divisions as well as with its federal, municipal, and boating safety stakeholders to provide clean, safe, and well-maintained boating access.

What to Expect: These events are part of the No Child Left Inside (NCLI) Families in the Parks Program. The NCLI program partners with the DEEP Boating Division to host several boating safety-themed events over the summer months. Event participants can take part in boating-related activities. They can also take a canoe or kayak out to paddle after a safety demonstration. All safety equipment will be provided
